Supported File Types
ePub+ Reader supports a wide range of reading and conversion formats, including:
EPUB, MOBI, AZW, AZW3, PDF, DJVU, FB2, CBZ, CBR, XPS, CHM, and TXT.
License and Support
Most features in the app are completely free to use. The eBook viewer is free except for theme color customization and printing. The built-in converter allows up to 3 eBook conversions to help you get started—upgrade to unlock unlimited conversions and reader customization.

How to Read eBooks
To start reading in ePub+ Reader, launch the app on your Windows device. Then select Read eBooks from the navigation toolbar on the left side of the main interface.
Open an eBook
You can open an eBook in three ways, depending on your preference:
1. Use the Open eBooks Buttons

Click one of the six buttons based on your eBook’s file type—EPUB, MOBI, AZW, Comic, PDF, or Other Formats.

Or, simply click the large Open eBooks button located at the center of the main interface.

Then browse and select your eBook file to open.
2. Drag and Drop

Locate your eBook file using File Explorer.

Drag and drop it into the dashed area at the center of the main interface, where the Open eBooks button is located.
3. Open from Recent Files
-
Click Recent Files in the lower-left corner of the main interface.
-
Find a previously opened file and click the open file icon to the right of its name.
Once selected, your eBook will open in the eBook Viewer window, ready for reading.
Viewer Theme
ePub+ Reader lets you personalize your reading experience by selecting from four different themes: Default (free), Dark, Vintage, and High Contrast.
To change the theme:

Click the ☰ menu in the top-left corner.

Go to Settings > Theme.

Choose your preferred theme from the list.
Note: The Default theme is free. Dark, Vintage, and High Contrast themes require a premium upgrade.
Page Navigation
ePub+ Reader offers a simple and responsive reading experience with multiple ways to navigate through your eBook content.
1. Scroll or Swipe
Use your mouse scroll wheel or swipe gestures on a touchpad to move up and down through the pages.
2. Keyboard Shortcuts
-
Arrow Keys: Use the Left/Right arrow keys to move forward or backward one page.

Page Up / Page Down: Quickly scroll through larger sections.

Home / End: Jump to the beginning or end of the book.
3. Go to Page
-
Press Ctrl + G or right-click on the viewer and choose Go To Page.
-
Enter the page number and press Enter to jump directly to that page.
4. Bookmarks
If the eBook includes a table of contents, referred as Bookmarks in the app, click ☰ menu (hamburger icon) > View > Bookmarks (F12) to jump to specific chapters or sections.
These tools make it easy to explore your eBooks at your own pace and return to where you left off.
Zooming and Book View Layout
ePub+ Reader offers flexible viewing options to improve your reading comfort.
Zoom In or Out
Use the mouse wheel while holding the Ctrl key to zoom in or out. You can also click the ☰ menu (hamburger icon) in the top-left corner and select your desired zoom level from the Zoom menu.
Switch Layout Modes
To change how pages are displayed, open the View menu from the ☰ menu and choose a layout mode:

Single Page – View one page at a time.
-
Facing Pages – Display two pages side by side like a book.
-
Book View – Similar to facing pages, but with additional margin styling.
These settings help tailor the reading experience to your preferences.
Print and Save-as
To Print an eBook
Click the ☰ menu (hamburger icon) in the top-left corner and select File > Print. Choose your printer and preferences in the dialog that appears, then click Print to start.
To Save as another file
Select File > Save As from the ☰ menu, then pick a destination folder and filename to complete the file save.
Note: the Print feature requires an upgrade to the premium version.
How to Convert eBooks
To convert one or more eBooks to a different format, follow these steps:
1. Open the Convert Module
From the main interface, select the Convert eBooks button in the navigation toolbar on the left side of the main window.
2. Add and Remove Files
Use the toolbar buttons at the top to build your conversion list:

Click the ➕ Add Files button to select individual eBooks or entire folders containing supported files.

To remove files, select them using the checkboxes on the left, then click the 🧹 broom icon to remove the selected items.
3. Select Output Format
Choose the desired output format in one of two ways:

Use the Convert to dropdown at the top-right to apply a format to all files in the list at once.

Or, set the output format for each file individually using the Type dropdown in that row.
Supported formats include EPUB, MOBI, PDF, DOCX, and 12 others.
4. Set Output Folder
Click the ⚙️ gear icon to open output settings:

Specify the Output Folder Path using the folder icon or text field.

Optionally check:
-
Save output files to original folders – to save each file to its source folder.

Open output folder after conversion – to automatically view the destination folder once conversion completes.

5. Start Conversion
Click the Convert button at the top-right to begin the conversion process.
6. Post-Conversion Actions
After conversion, use the icons in the Operation column to:

🗑️ Remove the file from the list.

📄 Open the converted file.
-
📂 Open Folder where the converted file was saved.
View Other Documents
In addition to eBook reading and conversion, ePub+ Reader includes built-in viewers for a variety of commonly used text-based document formats. This allows you to open and view Microsoft Word files, plain text and RTF documents, HTML web pages, MHT archives, and even PowerPoint files—all within the same app.
How to Access the Document Viewers
To get started, click the View Docs button from the navigation toolbar on the left side of the main window.
You’ll see a selection of viewer modules:

Microsoft Word – Open
.DOC,.DOCX,.DOT, and other Word-related file types. -
Word Editor – Create and edit Microsoft Word-compatible documents directly.

Text & RTF Files – Open plain text files (
.TXT) and rich text format files (.RTF). -
Web Pages & Archives – Open local HTML files or
.MHTweb archives. -
All Other Files – Use this option to open other supported text-based document formats.

PPTX PPT Editor – Launches the PowerPoint editor to open and edit
.PPTor.PPTXpresentations.
Opening Documents
You can open documents in one of two ways:

Click the Open Documents button at the bottom of the window and select your file(s), or
-
Drag and drop a file into the dashed-line area to load it instantly.
